Assessment/What happens next
You will initially be assessed by a psychotherapist to assess if counselling is suitable for you and if the Service has the clinical resource to provide the support you are looking for.
Appointments for assessments can be made by telephone or email (contact us). This assessment lasts for approximately one hour and there is a charge of £35.00
Can I refer myself?
You are the best person to decide whether counselling will help you. Sometimes a health care professional may suggest that you make contact with us.
What happens next
Once a decision has been made you will be contacted by letter, usually within two weeks of your initial appointment.
How often will I be seen?
Counselling sessions are usually arranged on a weekly basis.
How long does the session last?
Each counselling session lasts for fifty minutes.
Do I have to pay?
Yes. Our fees are competitive and are based on your income. Fees are discussed and agreed when you first contact the service.
Where can I have counselling?
There are counselling rooms in Hereford, Ledbury, Leominster and Ross-on-Wye with disabled access.
